Our Values and Ethos

Wirral WRAP exists to to re-engage children with education, provide improved life chances through therapy, free from the history and past that might have led the child into a scenario where the only alternative is managed move, permanent exclusion and the end of the road of positive intervention.

We want every student to become known, nurtured and enlightened and to develop confidence. We actively encourage and support a multi-agency approach, helping:

  • Support vulnerable students whose needs are often beyond those of a classroom environment, often struggling with mental health, including stress, anxiety, and depression.
  • Build resilience and coping strategies
  • Regulate emotions and manage behaviour
  • Recognise potential and improve aspirations encouraging students to aim higher
  • Re-engage disaffected students

Wirral WRAP exists to enable all pupils in its schools to achieve to the best of their ability in all that they do. All members of WRAP are committed to challenging and appropriately supporting students, schools, families and communities, along with local authorities across the region.
